On residential work we lead with Fujitsu, and on commercial ductless we lead with LG, the equipment behind much of our VRF work. We also service Mitsubishi, Daikin and other major ductless brands, whether the system was installed by us or by someone else.
Ductless equipment rewards regular attention more than ducted systems do. The indoor coil and blower wheel sit inside the living space and collect dust that filters alone cannot catch, and output falls off gradually enough that most owners do not notice until a professional cleaning restores it. Maintenance plan members get priority scheduling on service calls.

Additions, converted attics and garages, sunrooms, bonus rooms and the one bedroom that has never been comfortable are the classic cases. Mini-splits also work as a whole-home solution in houses that never had ducts.
We lead with Fujitsu on residential work and LG on commercial ductless, and we also service Mitsubishi, Daikin and other major ductless brands. Whether we installed the system or another company did, our technicians can diagnose and service it.
The most common cause is a blocked condensate drain line, which sends water that should be draining outside back into the indoor unit. A dirty blower wheel or coil can produce the same result. Both are straightforward for a technician to correct, and both get worse if left alone.
Rinsing the filters between visits is worth doing, but it is not a substitute for professional service. Dust and biological growth build up on the blower wheel and evaporator coil where the filters cannot protect them, and that buildup reduces airflow and output. Ductless systems are less forgiving of skipped maintenance than ducted equipment.
